4 1/2 Months
Hadlie is already 4 1/2 months old! Boy does time fly by, we have enjoyed every minute with her. she is such a happy and content baby. For about a month now she has been working on cutting a tooth. I can feel the bump in her mouth but it's not ready to poke through yet. Since she is cutting a tooth she is a little slobber monster! Some days we change her outfit 3 - 4 times depending on the drool. To top it off she is always chewing on her fingers too. I have even watched her try to fit both hands in her mouth...she has come close a couple of times. HaHa! Cooper is a great helper and loves to hold her and give her kisses. We are so blessed to have her!

Pinewood Derby 2011
This year was Cooper's first pinewood derby. Last year they raced turtles on strings and he wasn't too hip on that so he was extremely excited to race cars. He has been watching Dukes of Hazzard re-runs lately, so of course Cooper thought that making his derby car into the "General Lee" was the obvious choice. Brandon and Uncle Jay helped Cooper make his derby car into a pretty awesome "General Lee" if I do say so myself. He won half his races and his car got faster as the night went on. For a first attempt I think the night was a success and fun was had by all.

Hadlie's Blessing
On January 2, 2011 we blessed our sweet little angel Hadlie. Grandpa Smith gave her a beautiful blessing. It was a wonderful day shared with family and friends. After church we had a little luncheon at our house. Grandma Roundy had bought Hadlie cute little ballet slippers to wear with her dress, but they were too big and fell off so we just tried to get a picture with her wearing them.
Christmas 2010
This year for Christmas we did our own little Christmas Eve party and went to Grace for Christmas Day to have the Smith Christmas party. Then for the day after we went to Brigham to be with the Roundy's. Brandon bought me a jogging stroller so that I can try to get in better shape and still be able to take sweet little Hadlie with me. Christmas morning Cooper was excited with what Santa brought him but he wasn't so excited for me to take his picture.
8 Weeks Old
Here are just some random pictures of Hadlie at 8 weeks old. Cooper loves his little sister. He is so cute with her. What a proud mom I am!
Hunting the "Big One" Fall 2010
This year Brandon was hunting for the monster moose. He was gone pretty much every weekend but two from August thru November. One of the weekends he was home was when Hadlie was born. Cooper got to go with Brandon a few times and experience the camping and the hunting. On some of the trips Brandon's friend Chad came and brought his son Cameron. The rest of the time Brandon was with his other hunting buddies. But Brandon's relentless hunt for the "Big One" paid off because at the end of the hunt on a snowy blizzard day; Brandon and his friend Brady (and Brady's boys) found his trophy moose.
6 weeks old.......First Play Date
My cousin Angie came to visit and brought her cute baby Keira. Angie and I are less than 24 hours apart and we thought it was exciting that our babies were less than 36 hours apart. Both our babies were due around the 10 of October but they both decided to come early. Angie and I had both been waiting along time for a baby which made their births even more exciting! It was so fun to get them together!!
Halloween 2010
This year for Halloween Brandon was gone hunting so we went to Grace. Cooper got to go trick-or-treating with his cousins Sydnee and Chase. He had fun going with them since last year he went by himself. They got a lot of candy and had tons of fun. The kids and Megan and Kyle carved some pretty sweet pumpkins. I think it was a pretty successful Halloween all around.
2 Weeks
Cooper is such a good big brother. He is so loving and careful with his baby sister.

Our Little Miracle
I felt in my heart for a long time that there was one more baby for us still in Heaven. As the years went by it was harder and harder to have the faith that one day we would have another addition to our family. Cooper would always beg for a brother or sister which made it even harder to accept. We finally got the answer to our prayers on Thursday September 30, 2010 at 7:34 p.m. Our sweet little Angel was welcomed into this world weighing in at 8lbs 1oz. and measuring 20 inches long. Between me and Brandon and Grandmas and Grandpas and even some of the nursing staff there were a lot of happy tears shed. We couldn't have been happier to finally have in our arms a beautiful and healthy baby girl! Finally Hadlie Addison Roundy had joined our family!
